What kind of messages can I send?
Images (animations, wallpapers or themes), video clips, text files, audio clips (music and ringtones), applications, business cards and promotional details - you name it, Bluetooth can do it. With the popularity of multimedia mobile phones increasing, the potential for advertisers is huge. Bluetooth messages can be created on a number of standard computer programmes such as PowerPoint, Photoshop and Microsoft Word, ready for uploading onto the Bluetooth messaging unit or units.
How targeted is Bluetooth Wizard?
Bluetooth Wizard technology is so advanced, messages can be sent out to a targeted audience within the vicinity of the unit. Phone users receiving messages from Bluetooth Wizard Select are also given the option of which specific information they wish to receive in future.
How powerful is Bluetooth proximity marketing?

Can I have more than one unit?
Yes, several units may be set up and managed from one account, exclusive to the Bluetooth Wizard web facility. These units can be synchronised, or work entirely independently.
What is the range of the Bluetooth Wizard unit?
Bluetooth Wizard units can broadcast to mobile phones within a range of up to 120 metres, although the defining range is down to the mobile phone. Typically most mobile phones can send the “Yes” accept Bluetooth message up to 40 metres from the Bluetooth unit.
Can all phones receive a message by Bluetooth?
The vast majority of mobile phones are able to receive Bluetooth messages, providing that the facility is switched on. The only exceptions are the iphone, RIM Blackberry and some models manufactured by HTC whereby the mobile user has to specifically enable their mobile media application to receive Bluetooth messages.
How many phones will receive my message?
Based on independent studies, over 50% of mobile phone users aged between 14 and 21 chose to accept messages. The effectiveness of Bluetooth with adults aged 21-40 is only slight less, with 45% agreeing to receive messages.
How do I get information to the unit?
The Bluetooth Wizard Solo unit comes pre-programmed with an advert of your design; all you need to do is turn it on and your message will start broadcasting immediately.
How do I get my advert onto the unit?
Bluetooth Wizard supply Solo units fully loaded, with the option of any additional adverts designed in our studio from just £20 and posted to you on a USB memory stick. All that is required is for you to plug it into your unit and the new advert will load automatically, ready to begin broadcasting immediately. Select and Remote units can also be loaded via the internet.
Can I create my own adverts?
Yes, you can create all your own adverts in standard programs such as PowerPoint, Photoshop or Microsoft Word. Using the Solo upgrade software you can then load these adverts onto your unit by UBS memory stick or a local USB cable connection. Easy!
What if there is no mobile network signal?
No problem! Mobile phones will still receive Bluetooth messages, even in areas without phone reception - which makes Bluetooth Wizard perfect for country shows, underground stations, or companies operating in areas with low signal. No business is excluded with Bluetooth.
What if my Bluetooth unit is in a remote location?
This is what makes Bluetooth Wizard totally unique: with our Remote unit comes a 3G modem and Bluetooth Wizard’s remote campaign web-based software, so you can create your advert on any PC or laptop in the world before loading it remotely over the 3G modem, using the Vodafone network.
